Before we release the information, let's talk lip prep. The skin on our lips is thin and can be fragile. We do so much with our lips and the lines can show. Of course this affects the way lipstick appears. BUT - we have tools available to us to help prepare our lips for lipstick and life!
The best way to prep a lip for a really great lipstick is to exfoliate. Just like the rest of our skin, lips deserved exfoliation and help with texture and wrinkling. You can always use a face exfoliate her on your lips but you can also make one that will help enhance your lips as well! Take equal parts raw cane sugar and a really good olive oil and combine with 4 drops grade peppermint oil. Rub this concoction on your lips and leave on anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes. You can do this twice a week and it will leave your lips soft and full. To add additional softness, you can also apply a Hyaluronic Acid serum afterwards for plumpness and moisture.

I love Dior and use a lot of their products and this lip scrub is included in that. It offers all of the exfoliating with sugar that I love for a lip, but it is a lot more convenient. This lip exfoliator comes in a tube that you can twist and use without having to dip your fingers in to a pot. The light sugar used in this melts easily into your lips and offers a color tint afterwards. Great travel product!
