Hello beauties !

There are so many makeup trends out there, and every new season something « new » comes back in, just in a slightly different from or with a slightly different touch on it. One makeup trend though has been going strong through out decades of fashion frenzies and all their seasons, and that girlfriend, is the Black Eyeliner. No matter the country, color, eye form, age or other, the eyeliner is the ultimate makeup trend. Everyone can wear it, and depending on the form, structure and intensity, it can be sexy, sophisticated, fun, playful, intense, discrete and femina. The black eyeliner is the ultimate makeup tool for every woman!

Back in the days, you had the kohl & a sort of creamy eyeliner that you wetted with water. Now you have some many option that it can get a little bit intimating.How to choose!?

So I’m going to break it down for you.


You have 3 types of eyeliners:

·    The Pencil eyeliner

      Easiest to use as you use it as you would a pencil! Great to use for a subtle everyday look, especially if you blend it slightly ( with your fingertips or a brush ). Perfect for the waterline as well. And for a good smokey eye, I always find that a good kohl pencil is the best!

·    The Gel eyeliner

       Usually comes in a small pot. You can use the brush that you find the easiest ( I usually use a very thin one or a angled brush ). As the formula is creamy & thick it is quite easy to get a clean & precise line! Perfect for cat eyes

·    The Liquid eyeliner

     Comes in 2 different forms, pen form & a sort of “nail polish” vials. I personally prefer the pen form as they have a marker type tips which makes it very easy to do very thin lines or very graphing ones!

Most women quickly find out which one they are the most comfortable with. There is really no gold rule, except practice makes perfect! And God gave us Q-tips to erase the small mistakes that we make in the beginning, so be bold girls and just go for it !
