Sparkly Smokey Eye

Hello ladies,

We are in full swing of the Christmas season & the time has come to  bring a little bit more of a sparkle to our makeup. And we will be putting the sparkle on a beautiful classic: The Smokey Eyes!

The Smokey Eye is a makeup that can go with any & all forms of eyeshapes. Which is why it’s so popular. I once had a journalist ask me what the most demanded eye makeup is for the average woman...and yes you guessed the answer: the Smokey Eye.

So, the idea of doing something fun & festive with this one, well it was just an evidence.

Before I give you girls a really easy tip on how give your makeup some sparkle, let me just break down the basic steps to a Smokey Eye:

You apply one medium/dark color evenly over the eyelid (the crease in your eyelid is your limit). Then with a darker color, you control the form or structure that you want (may it be the effect and/or to correct the form of your eyes). The structure can be placed at the outer or inner edge of your eye or even in the crease between your eyeball & brow bone meet. It all depends on the form of the eye and the effect that you are looking for. Really quite simple, which sometimes makes it seem too complicated.

So once your classical Smokey Eye makeup is done, in the color of your choosing, you simply put some glitter on the middle of your eyelid, over your eyeshadow.
