A Glimpse Into The Creative Backstage Vibe

The majority of the work I do is editorial & beauty make up - It really is one of my favorite aspect in my work ! When you see a beautiful image though, you may not know all the work that it takes to capture it. Something very simple can consist of a lot of layers.

When working on sets, there is always a different vibe. Something it’s very creative, sometimes, it’s very tense, or fun & laidback or even all of the above. The process is almost always a unique experience. Most importantly, it’s all about the team that works to create that image - The photographer, the model, the makeup artist, the hairdresser, the stylist, the lighting crew & all the assistants. A team creates a vibe, that when it comes together, BAM you have the SHOT!

Ambiance backstage is vital to the success to a good shooting. The prep, the creations, the jokes, the vibes...everything that makes or breaks the mood of the team. Everyone’s work must come together to get that harmony, to get THAT photo. Because to get that image, at the end of the day, is all about teamwork

And when there is a creative & open vibe going on there really is nothing better for a workday. Because that’s when the Magic happens! And work doesn’t feel like work anymore!
