Hello Gorgeous! Time for a a new “ At Our Fingertips “ review. The product that we chose to review this week is a drugstore mascara. Cosmetics range in price and availability - sometimes the best products are right at your fingertips!
Product: The Super Sizer Mascara in Black by Cover Girl.

They say: affordable mascara with a unique brush that gives you 400% more corner-to-corner volume for fanned out, full eyelashes.
Colors: very black, black & black brown
How to use it:
- Twirl the mascara wand as you apply.
I say: Every time I go to the U.S.A, I always take time to pop in a drugstore and see what they have at their makeup product section. I love trying new stuff, whether it is high-end or drugstore bought. I tried this mascara when it first came out a couple of years ago, and since then there is always one in my professional & personal makeup bag.
The wand on this mascara got me hooked. Because let’s face it, when it comes to mascara - it really is all about the wand! The wand for this mascara is small & thin with spiraling short bristles. When it’s brand new, there is a lot of product on the wand, so I recommend that you “scrap” a little bit of it back into the tube. This is a mascara that is very easy to build up from very naturel lashes (one coat) to very heavy lashes (you can go up to 4 coats easy). When applying put the wand to the roots of your lashes and then zig zag the wand to the exterior. Be sure to “sculpt” your lashes as you want the form to be, because once the mascara dries, you can’t “re-sculpt” them.

This mascara does not smudge, which for me is a very big plus but it tends to flake at the end of the day which is not nessicerly better.
I don’t like water-proof mascaras in general and this one was not an exception.. it was like superglue..just did not want to go off which means you have to rub your lashes ALOT and that’s never a good thing for your lashes!!
Overall this is a very good product, with a very good staying power and amazing result that you see on your lashes. So go try one Today girls!! I promise you won’t regret it.
Erika says: Usually when I love mascara, I stick with it. I am not a mascara experimenter. I have my two high brand favorites.
Thora has raved about Cover Girl mascara for quite a while and in my snobbery, I have avoided it. I associate Cover Girl with being 14 and all the liquid foundation in 4 shades too dark that I would pour over my face. I actively would tease Thora about her Cover Girl mascara adoration. UNTIL… she could take it no more and asked me to be open minded and give it a shot.
After trying it for one full week, I have to say that honestly, I was happily surprised. The wand is smaller and allows for an easier application to my baby fine lower lashes. The product doesn’t clump and looks nice after two to three coats. The downsides – honestly, the packaging is obnoxious and the mascara tube itself is really large (this is not necessarily travel make up bag friendly as it takes up a lot of space). But the product itself is fantastic. You also must make sure you are twirling the wand as you apply to make sure it is even and lengthening the eyelashes. If you do not, it can clump on smaller lashes like mine. However, with the twirl, it made my eyes stand out and provided a super size length.
I would use it for everyday and special occasion and can see results with the right number of coats. Obviously with mascara, as with most things, keeping an open mind helped me to see more options!
Overall note: 3/4. We give it three out of four, for it’s sometimes flakiness and for packaging flaws.
I say: Go buy it and try it! I dare you

Erika says: It is an amazing price point and worth every cent. Whether you are looking for everyday mascara or one for a dramatic effect, this product has the capability of meeting expectations.
